Devi Brand Identity
Devi is a fragrance brand I created that uses high quality ingredients sourced from around India. Devi specializes in creating luxury perfumes, candles, and hand soaps. This project was created as part of a branding design course at Temple University, taught by Soonduk Krebs.
This project is incredibly close to my heart because it brings together two things that mean the world to me: my culture and my love for beauty and lifestyle. As a dual citizen of the U.S. and India, I grew up speaking Hindi and spending a lot of time with my family overseas. Those experiences shaped so much of who I am. The rich scents, colors, and artistry of ancient India have always stayed with me, and they've deeply inspired the brand I’ve created. The word “Devi” in Hindi translates to “Goddess” in English, which is how I wanted women to feel when they wear Devi fragrances. It is also a tribute to my grandmother, Devika.
